WinSci, in collaboration with IEEE and IET ITU, hosted a highly impactful panel discussion in celebration of International Women in Science Day. The event united individuals from diverse STEM backgrounds to honor the remarkable contributions of women in science, while also addressing the persistent gender gap in STEM fields, both within Pakistan and on a global scale. The session featured thought-provoking discussions on the unique challenges and triumphs experienced by women in science, with panelists sharing personal stories and offering valuable insights. Following these discussions, audience members actively participated in an engaging Q&A, focusing on actionable strategies to improve workplace conditions for women in Pakistan and inspiring young girls to break barriers and pursue careers in STEM. The event successfully fostered a sense of community and sparked critical dialogue about gender equality in science and technology.
