WinSci proudly conducted a transformative 3-week Robotics Summer Camp for the girls of the
Alam Bibi Fund, designed to empower and inspire young minds in STEM. The camp kicked off
with engaging ice-breaking activities, followed by focused sessions on confidence building and
character development, creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for the participants. As
the girls became more comfortable, they transitioned into the technical aspects of the camp,
where they were introduced to product design principles and the fascinating world of robotics.
Through hands-on learning, the girls explored Arduino programming, gained a foundational
knowledge of electronics using snap circuits, and built their first robotic projects, fostering
creativity and problem-solving skills. Each session was designed to be interactive, encouraging
the participants to think critically and collaboratively. The feedback from the camp was
overwhelmingly positive, with many of the girls expressing newfound enthusiasm for robotics
and technology. The camp not only equipped them with practical skills but also sparked their
curiosity for future careers in STEM fields, marking a significant milestone in promoting
education and confidence among young girls in underrepresented communities.
